1. Veteran’s Stand Down Program

At our Annual Central Ohio Veterans Stand Down event, we provide services to Veterans such as food, shelter, new clothing,VA health screenings, VA and Social Security benefits counseling, and referrals to a variety of other necessary services. Included in these services are housing, employment and substance abuse treatment, education and jobs. Our annual event is a time to support and celebrate our Veterans living in Franklin, Delaware, Fairfield, Knox, Licking, Madison, Marion, Morrow, Pickaway and Union Counties. LEARN MORE

2. Adopt-a-Service Member

On a monthly basis, the Central Ohio Chapter of MOAA selects active duty service members to receive “care packages” designed to show our appreciation and support during their period of deployment. Packages contain a variety of items selected by Mrs. Dorothy Williams, Committee Chairperson, and are mailed to those individuals whose names we received for the month. LEARN MORE

3. Honor Flight

MOAA Central Ohio Chapter supports the Honor Flight program through our members who volunteer to support Honor Flight Columbus and the Honor Flight Network. Our members donate their time and personal resources to help keep this veterans program flying high. Some of our World War II members have been on the receiving end of this great program which honors our senior veterans as well as terminally ill veterans of any wartime service…all at no cost to the honored veterans. 4. JROTC

MOAA Central Ohio is proud to support several local JROTC Programs. Donations to our JROTC Program are allocated by our Board.

If you would like to designate your JROTC donation to a specific school, please email our JROTC chairperson.
