Monthly, the Central Ohio Chapter of MOAA selects active duty service members to receive “care packages” designed to show our appreciation and support during their period of deployment. Packages contain a variety of items selected by Mrs. Dorothy Williams, Committee Chair, and are mailed to those individuals whose names we received for the month. If you have service members in mind who would benefit from recieving our “care package” or have suggestions on how to improve our program, please contact Mrs. Williams at 614-423-7016.

• Cheese/Peanut Butter Crackers, Beef Jerky, Cereal Bars/Power Nuts/Seeds/Trail Mix Bars/Cliff Bars
• Batteries(AA/AAA/C&D), Ear Plugs/Travel Pillows, Triple Head razors, Playing Cards, DVDs & CDs
• Hard Candy, Mints/Gum, Hot chocolate packages, Dried Fruit/Granola, Flavored Water Packets
• Powder drink mixes (Kool-Aid, Crystal light), Tuna & Chicken Salad in foil pouches – No Cans
• Dry Soup (Cup of Soup – add water), Beanie Babies/Small Stuffed items for Children
• Bath Net Sponges, Moleskin, Eye Drops, Lip Balm, Gel insole cushions, Foot Powder/Deodorant, Shampoo
• Conditioner, Hand and foot warmers (disposable), TRAVEL SIZE toiletries (not hotel freebies), Tooth Paste, Shaving Cream tubes (no cans), Magazines/Crosswords
• If you do not wish to shop, donations of $1 or $2 are acceptable.  I will buy items.
